RCIA, Rite of Christian Initiation
for Adults Initiation of Adults
RCIA is a process that builds on the spirituality of adults to come to Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist at Easter. By uncovering the relevance of faith in our daily lives, we build a long-term basis for meaning and joy. We meet on a weekly basis from September to Easter to study our human experiences in the light of the Bible, the teachings of the Catholic Church and the sacraments we celebrate together.
ARISE Together in Christ – Fall Session 2016
This three-year parish-centered process offers the opportunity for new friendships, stronger faith and a deeper relationship with Christ through prayer and the Scriptures. Over 120 parishioners participated in this wonderful spiritual process over the past two years. Beginning again in October, groups of 8 – 10 parishioners will meet in homes and other locations throughout our parish for 6 sessions. Everyone is welcome to participate – we have a variety of types of groups and meeting times to fit your schedule.
Landings is a reconciliation ministry welcoming all Catholic parishes and communities to reach out to Catholics who have been away from the Church or who struggle in their relationship with God and the Church. In a welcoming and non-judgmental way, small groups of active lay Catholics join with returning or inactive Catholics to share their spiritual journeys and explore their Catholic faith. Participants discuss the major elements of their Catholic faith and have opportunity to share their faith journeys with others of like mind. Sharing your time, your resources, and your faith can provide a safe harbor or a “landing” place for returning Catholics to explore their faith and their future with the Church. We hope to begin this program during our 2016-2017 liturgical year. https://landingsintl.org/

Engaged Encounter is a weekend experience of prayer and discussion for couples preparing for marriage. The presenting teams usually consist of two married couples and a priest. It is an intensive weekend of work during which each couple is offered the time and opportunity to question, examine and deepen their relationship with each other and with God. Couples are challenged to explore their relationship in a much deeper, more honest way than they have before. https://engagedencounter.org/
