Our Primary Grade classes (grades 2-5) are offered on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30-5pm. Crafts, activities, games, movies, music, food and drama are incorporated to supplement the lesson to appeal to many learning styles and relay God’s message. We explore the main themes and foundations of our faith each year presenting the material a little differently at each age appropriate level. We use the Finding God Catechetical Series published by Loyola Press for instruction. 

Sacrament Prep. Grades (2 & 3)

Our 2nd and 3rd grade children meet together and begin their formal faith formation with focus on basic faith foundations and the Sacraments. The children are also prepared for the receipt of Reconciliation and Eucharist. All Sacrament Programs are a two year process, no matter what age or grade the child begins. 

Peacemakers (Grades 4 & 5)

Our 4th & 5th grade students meet together and further explore themes including Christian Morality, the Sacraments, Scripture and Catholic Traditions. Peacemakers are also introduced to  more parish ministries such as altar serving and assist in simply community outreach projects such as making Valentines Day cards for the elderly at our local retirement home, or for our clients who come to our weekly food  pantry. Those children in 4th and 5th grades who are in need of receiving the Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist also receive preparation over a two year period.
